Makkah: Quality of Life Program CEO Khalid Albaker highlighted the program's objectives, key achievements, and ongoing initiatives during the second edition of the Mirkaz AlBalad AlAmeen dialogue platform.
Albaker explored opportunities for collaboration across various sectors to enhance the quality of life for both residents and visitors of Makkah, aligning with the goals of Vision 2030. He emphasized the program’s mission to improve individual and family well-being by fostering a supportive environment that encourages positive choices, promotes psychological wellness, and enhances overall health.
Showcasing key accomplishments, Albaker pointed out Saudi Arabia’s significant progress in the security sector, with public trust in security services reaching an impressive 99.7%. This high confidence level reflects the nation’s commitment to safety and stability for residents and visitors alike. Additionally, the Kingdom has welcomed over 100 million tourists, demonstrating the success of initiatives aimed at boosting tourism and entertainment. The program has also contributed to workforce development, with more than 100,000 specialized personnel trained in the entertainment sector.
Further strengthening Saudi Arabia’s cultural presence on the global stage, the Quality of Life Program has facilitated Saudi participation in 32 international cultural events and organized over 3,930 days of cultural activities, reinforcing engagement in cultural and recreational initiatives both locally and internationally.
Albaker reaffirmed his commitment to mobilizing Quality of Life ambassadors to promote the program’s vision at home and abroad. He underscored efforts to transform Makkah into a globally inspiring model of housing excellence, visitor appeal, and refined living through strategic partnerships and sustainable collaborations.
